“It is our aim to offer the highest quality service possible and thereby fulfill the requirements of our customers. This is a further important step to establish TAT as the prime air cargo terminal operator in North China” said Robert Nieuwenhuis, senior manager TAT Sales & Marketing.
In related news, TAT is undergoing final audits to attain membership of IATA Cargo 2000. Certification is expected by the end of this year and will allow TAT to implement processes backed by industry specific standards, thereby improving quality and efficiency of air cargo for all partners.
At the same time, final audits for TAPA (Transport Asset Protection Association) membership are being conducted and TAT expects certification in December 2008. TAPA specifies freight security standards to ensure safety of cargo during transportation.
