Boeing has started final assembly of the 787-9 Dreamliner at its South Carolina facility. The team began joining large fuselage sections of the newest 787 Nov. 22 on schedule. ANA seeks clearance for cargo JV with United
Japan’s All Nippon Airways (ANA) has filed an application with the Japan's Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism for antitrust immunity to enable ANA and United Airlines to create a more efficient and comprehensive trans-Pacific air cargo business network. United Airlines today announced the appointment of Jan Krems as president of United Cargo and vice president United Airlines. Krems takes over the role held by Robbie Anderson who was president of United Cargo since 2010. UAL Corporation, the holding company of United Airlines, reported a net loss of $63 million for the third quarter ended Sept. 30, 2009.
