Jettainer delivers fire-resistant ULDs to Lufthansa
Jettainer has rolled out the first batch of AMX fire-resistant unit load devices which were sourced from American ULD manufacturer Satco Inc. Lufthansa will be the first to use these fully certified fire-resistant containers, which were designed in accordance with the latest Technical Standard Orders (TSO) C90e specifications defined by the Federal Aviation Authority. Lufthansa Cargo ended 2022 with another record finish as revenue jumped 22 percent from last year at 4.6 billion euros (3.8 billion euros in the previous year). In cargo, sales were flat at 7.2 billion freight tonne kilometers from the previous year but Lufthansa enjoyed strong yields. Lufthansa to add B777F services to China in March
Lufthansa is adjusting its freighter route network in response to corresponding demand for the 2023 summer flight schedule, which starts on 26 March. The German airline said weekly frequencies to destinations in China served by Boeing 777F aircraft will be both increased and combined in routing. Lufthansa Cargo plans to offer 10 freighter flights per week to Shanghai (PVG) in the future.
