Transaero Airlines has launched cargo services between Russia and China. Transaero, being the designated scheduled carrier on the Beijing-Novosibirsk route, delivered 22.4 tonnes of mail while performing the first flight on this route using Tu-204C aircraft. Xiamen Air to carry SF Express’ goods
Xiamen Airlines, a carrier based in Xiamen, Fujian province, signed a contract with SF Express Group to carry the logistics company's goods on the carrier's routes from Beijing starting Thursday. DHL Supply Chain to invest $173M in China
DHL Supply Chain (DSC) announced that it will commit a further EUR 113 million (US$173 million) in China as its strategy gains traction. This is on the back of EUR 105 million that was committed in 2013, bringing the total committed to EUR 218 million. Agility has appointed Soren Poulsen as CEO for Greater China Area (GCA). In this role, Poulsen will be responsible for leading Agility’s Global Integrated Logistics business in China, Hong Kong and Taiwan. SF Express to deliver goods for Costco
Chinese delivery firm SF Express announced that it will be taking over the international delivery service of Costco, a US-based warehouse merchandise retailer. Costco said it can deliver overseas products in as short as five days.
