IAG starts Colombia route, reconnects with Cuba
From this summer, IAG Cargo is starting a new route into Colombia and reopening its route into Cuba. LATAM cargo revenue down by 4.7%
Santiago-based LATAM Airlines Group narrowed its year-on-year net loss for 2014 to US$109.8 million from $281.1 million in 2013, drawn on this year's revenues of US$3.04 billion, which fell 1.7 per cent. Q4 net profit was US$98.3 million against a year-on-year net loss of US$46.1 million. Germanwings A320 crashes with 150 feared dead
An A320 belonging to Lufthansa's Germanwings budget carrier has crashed in a remote snowy area of the French Alps on Tuesday with all 150 on board feared dead. Germanwings confirmed its flight 4U9525 from Barcelona to Duesseldorf crashed in the French Alps with 144 passengers and six crew members on board. Thai to exit freighter services, sell off 22 aircraft
Thai Airways has announced the latest step in its major restructuring plans that will see it sell off 22 of its aircraft and terminate freighter services as it struggles to overcome seven straight months of losses.
