China Air begins Taoyuan-Shenzhen
Taiwan's China Airlines (CAL) has launched a new freighter service from Taoyuan to Shenzhen. The airline will operate three flights per week on this route using B747-400F jets. CAL said it is believes the new route could meet the growing demand for the shipment of consumer electronics and express air parcel as Shenzhen is a major hub for e-commerce and online shopping. Turkish Cargo adds two destinations
Turkish Cargo is offering new services to two cities: Chicago and Kuwait City. The all-cargo weekly flight to Chicago O’Hare will supplement the already healthy belly capacity currently available in multiple Turkish passenger flights to cities in both the US and Canada. The flight to Kuwait will also be operated once every week, heading non-stop to Kuwait City on Tuesdays and returning via Dubai World Central on the same day. Dubai Airports has confirmed its US$ 1.2 billion (AED 4.3 billion) investment in new and upgraded facilities for the over 110 international airlines that operate from Dubai International’s Terminals 1 and 2.
