Chapman Freeborn is welcoming back Allen Liu with a new role as cargo director for North Asia as it looks to support its growth strategy and the increasing demand in the region.
Liu, who worked for 5 years as Chapman Freeborn’s cargo manager for China from 2013, was most recently connected with AirBridgeCargo before being pulled back by the aircraft charter provider to develop the North Asia market.
“We can see that North Asia has so much untapped potential and looking to the future when the pandemic is over there will be an increase in opportunities,” said Allen.
“I will be developing strategic growth plans and putting them in place to support the increasing demand for cargo charters in North Asia. There is potential to really develop the business here” he added.
Liu, who will be based in Shanghai, will work closely with Neil Dursley, chief commercial officer and Reto Hunziker, group cargo director.
Dursley commented on the recent appointment: “we are delighted to welcome Allen back to Chapman Freeborn, he will play a fundamental role in expanding our presence in North Asia. His expertise and knowledge in the product, and the industry will play a pivotal role in expanding the team and taking us to the next level.”
