HAECO ITM Limited announced today that the company has extended its long-standing agreement with China Airlines (CAL) to provide inventory technical management support for the airline’s expanding Boeing 777 fleet until 2029.
The agreement includes the addition of six 777F aircraft, with the first two delivered in December 2020 and the remainder set to enter service by 2023.
The contract extension covers component MRO, repair management, component pooling, component engineering, consumable and expendable parts support services, AOG support as well as onsite consignment stock in Taipei to all 16 of CAL’s Boeing 777 passenger and freighter fleet.
HAECO ITM has been providing inventory technical management support to CAL since 2014. The company said it will continue to ensure that its customised, cost-effective solutions will bolster the airline’s strong fleet performance.
“We are delighted to continue our partnership with China Airlines. The extension, in these challenging times, is a testament to our strong operational relationship,” said William Arblaster, executive general manager.
