Malaysia launches a new airline

The Malaysian government is launching a new airline, "flymojo".

Malaysian aviation is back in the news, this time for introducing a new airline, “flymojo”.

The new airline has already signed a US$1.5 billion deal with Canadian aircraft company Bombardier for 20 new aircraft, with the possibility of buying 20 more later.

flymojo will fly between the Malaysian cities of Sabah and Sarawak, as well as other key cities in the region. Its main hub will be Senai International Airport in Malaysia.

Alies Anor Abdul, chairman of flymojo, said: “The airline’s goal is to make air travel a much-anticipated and longed for experience.””
