China will build model airport economic zones in pilot cities, the country’s aviation watchdog has announced according to Xinhua. Air China Cargo to begin new YEG, DFW service
Air China Cargo (ACC) has announced a new maindeck service to North America from 3 September. The B777F service will see six flights a week Shanghai-Edmonton-Dallas- Edmonton-Shanghai Edmonton making it the carrier’s first scheduled freighter destination in Canada. The JAL Group (JAL) has announced its volume of international cargo in terms of Revenue Cargo Tonne Kilometres (RCTK) in the first quarter (1 April to 30 June 2015) increased by 9.4 per cent year-on-year and international cargo revenue increased by 5.1 per cent to 14.7 billion yen (US$117.8 million). China’s Uni-Top takes delivery of first A300-600F P2F
China’s Uni-Top Airlineshas taken delivery of its first A300-600 freighter, following a passenger to freighter conversion with EADS Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EADS EFW) in Dresden, Germany. The first freighter, with a payload capacity of 48 tonnes, will be deployed on flights from Shanghai Pudong to Seoul Incheon, Shenzhen, Wuhan, and Osaka Kansai.
