SkyCargo marks 35k tonnes of cool chain
Emirates SkyCargo recently shipped its 35,000th tonne of Cool Chain products through its exclusive freighter hub at Al Maktoum International-Dubai World Central (DWC) which opened earlier this year. Emirates Airline is estimated to have contributed over US$848 million annually to India’s GDP, according to the results of an economic impact study conducted by the New Delhi-based National Council of Applied Economic Research (NCAER). Indonesian investigators say a chronically faulty component and the crew’s attempts to fix the problem contributed to the crash of an AirAsia passenger aircraft last year, killing all 162 aboard.
