This role is an outside dedicated sales position with focus on a core Business Unit (Air Freight). Overall targets include minimal sea freight volume to develop knowledge and competency.

Your Role

The primary purpose of this role is to actively pursue growth opportunities, through acquisition of new and additional business and to integrate the business successfully into operations and to ensure achievements of volume and gross profit targets (Air Freight: Tons & GP)

Your Responsibilities

To be the primary point of contact for customers in the assigned territory within Luzon, selling KN services across business units with a specific focus on the assigned business unit (Air Freight)

Your Tasks + Responsibilities

  • To focus on acquiring new customers and additional business from existing portfolio
  • To closely cooperate with operations to develop and apply specialized knowledge relative to the assigned business unit and trade lane (where applicable) and liaise on pricing/RFQ preparation
  • To develop spot and regular opportunities with existing and new customers
  • To focus on customer retention / engagement on assigned portfolio
  • To prepare and conduct customer visits, calls, presentations, negotiations and contracts, subject to KN terms and conditions
  • To input and timely update sales activities utilizing CRM system (corelog)
  • To ensure proper on-boarding of customers to operations in line with customer requirements and internal procedures
  • To complete all required sales activities (calls, visits, leads, opportunities)

Your Skills And Experiences

Your Skills + Experience

  • Bachelor’s Degree in any business related courses
  • At least 2 years experience in sales and project management
  • With 3-5 years working experience in similar role, handling both Air and Sea
  • Have good interpersonal and communications skills
  • Good presentation and negotiation skills
  • Have commercial acumen and customer orientation skills with an eye for opportunities and development in the logistics industry
  • Must be self motivated with a positive attitude and strong drive to exceed targets
  • Must be highly organized with the ability to influence customers to purchase services by showcasing solutions and differentiators that meet customer requirements
  • Proficient in MS Office Applications
