Logistics integrator FedEx Logistics is expanding its Asia Pacific network with the opening of a new office in Seoul in South Korea, a press release confirmed.
The new contract logistics team in Korea will provide end-to-end logistics solutions, including international air and ocean cargo services, customs brokerage arrangements, trade solutions, and other value-added services.
The company says the opening of the new Seoul office follows the company’s growth strategy to expand into economies with great potential.
“The new office in Korea complements our global operations, strengthening our position to better serve our customers around the world,” said Patrick Moebel, president of FedEx Trade Networks.
“Global customers who trade with Korea and Korean customers alike will benefit from the fully customizable solutions offered by FedEx Logistics. We deliver for our customers by helping them navigate the complexities of global commerce.”
In recent news, the company’s express division initiated new integrations with leading e-commerce tech platforms across Asia Pacific as it aims to support SMEs that are seeing significant demand for e-commerce services and day-definite express delivery services, heading into the year-end peak season.
FedEx said it has integrated with 17 platforms, providing direct access to its services to hundreds of thousands of e-merchants across Asia Pacific, using their FedEx account number, to manage shipments and grow their cross-border e-commerce business.
