GVK Group, which is developing the Mumbai airport, is planning to bid for modernisation of the Prague airport.
GMR Group, which is building airports in New Delhi, Hyderabad and Istanbul, has also decided to bid for Prague, according to a Cargo News Asia report.
The two groups had earlier come face to face when the government decided to modernise Delhi and Mumbai airports two years back with private participation. While GVK did not bid for Delhi, GMR bid for both and won Hyderabad and Istanbul and later was also awarded New Delhi.
GVK said the group is looking at opportunities abroad in Eastern Europe and Latin American countries like Mexico.
