Aviation industry veteran Lim Chin Beng has been appointed chairman of Changi Airports International (CAI), replacing chairman Bobby Chin YC.
Lim, who was one of the founders of SIA as well as Singapore’s first low-cost carrier, ValuAir, was appointed to head CAI’s board on 1 November. Lim already holds several directorships in various companies.
He is also chairman of the Ascott Group, director of StarHub and chairman of the Singapore Airshow, which debuts in 2008. More recently, he took up chairmanship of GE- backed Altitude Aircraft Leasing Trust.
