GECAS has contracted to add six 737-800BCFs to its in-service fleet, which will bring the company’s active fleet of converted 737-800NG to more than 40. Dachser Asia Pacific offers air charter service to Mexico
Dachser is expanding its air freight network with a new weekly service connecting Asia Pacific to South America. In June, the transport specialist operated four cargo charter flights with partner Air Canada, connecting Hong Kong to Mexico via Canada. A Boeing 777C preighter was used for the service. This passenger aircraft had its seats removed to provide extra cargo space on the cabin. ATRAN to lease 737-800BCFs from GECAS
Press release ATRAN Airlines has taken delivery of a 737-800 Boeing converted freighter (BCF) from GE Capital Aviation Services (GECAS) and a second is slated to deliver later this month to the scheduled express cargo carrier, part of the Russia-based Volga-Dnepr Group.
