American Cargo receives approval for Envirotainer e2/e2
American Airlines Cargo has made a significant enhancement to its temperature-control programme by adding the Envirotainer e1 and e2 containers to its lineup of healthcare shipping solutions. Virgin invests in lightweight Dyneema cargo nets
Virgin Atlantic Cargo is to start using lightweight air cargo nets with Dyneema, as part of its ongoing contribution towards the airline’s target of reducing aircraft CO2 emissions by 30 per cent by 2020. The airline has initially ordered 600 of the nets, which at nine kg each represent a four kg saving on the weight of a traditional cargo net used to secure shipments on pallets. CSafe expands one-way lease options
Cold chain ULD solutions provider, CSafe Global has announced a significant expansion of its available one-way trip lease options. CSafe Lessees can now return CSafe RKNs at no fee to more than half of the service centers in the CSafe network.
