DB Schenker, Lufthansa Cargo on track to save 20,000 tonnes of CO2
After five years of a strategic partnership between transportation and logistics company DB Schenker and air freight specialist Lufthansa Cargo, both companies have saved 10,000 tonnes of carbon dioxide with another 10,000 tonnes expected to follow by 2020. WFS wins PIA contract for cargo handling, trucking in UK
Worldwide Flight Services (WFS) has won a three-year contract to provide cargo handling and trucking services for Pakistan International Airlines (PIA) in the UK. WFS will handle export and import cargo for PIA’s wide-bodied flights at London Heathrow, Birmingham and Manchester, connecting customers in the UK with Islamabad, Karachi and Lahore. Airbus delivers 10,000th aircraft to Singapore Airlines
Airbus celebrated the delivery of its 10,000th aircraft last week - an A350-900 for Singapore Airlines. The milestone event was marked by a special ceremony in Toulouse hosted by Airbus Group CEO Tom Enders and attended by Goh Choon Phong, CEO of Singapore Airlines.
