Bangalore International Airport Limited (BIAL) has announced the annual traffic figures for Kempegowda International Airport, Bengaluru (KIAB), which show a healthy cargo growth of 5.4 per cent, year-on-year in 2015 to reach a total volume of 287,198 tonnes last year. Shanghai Pudong Int’l Airport Cargo Terminal Co., Ltd. (PACTL) set a new record for freight volumes in 2015, achieving overall tonnage growth of 6.47 per cent year-on-year, having processed nearly 1.6 million tonnes of air freight. Brussels enjoys robust 7.8% cargo growth in 2015
Brussels Airport wrapped up 2015 with a year of strong growth on both the passenger side (up 7.0 per cent) and cargo with a full 7.8 per cent growth over the previous year thanks to the full freighter and express segments. Queen Alia International Airport (QAIA) handled 8,612 tonnes of cargo in November 2015, a 1.7 per cent decline month-on-month and a 9.6 per cent increase year-on-year, according to figures issued by the Airport International Group (AIG).
