US Airways has appointed Aviapartner Cargo as its ground handler at 13 stations in Europe. The contract, effective from 1 July, is for three years and represents a volume of about 33,000 tonnes per year. Aviapartner Cargo will provide US Airways with cargo handling services in Frankfurt, Paris, Brussels, Amsterdam, Stockholm, Athens, Zurich, Barcelona, Madrid, Lisbon, Rome, Milan, and Venice. Its services include warehousing, ULD build-up and break-down, inventory control, documentation for import and export, Customs clearance, tracing, and dangerous goods handling.
