SWISS has appointed Ashwin Bhat as its new head of cargo. He will assume his new duties on 1 October. Drones will soon be used to deliver packages in Switzerland as part of a pilot project by Swiss Post. Tests are already underway in the US in a collaboration with Swiss WorldCargo, using drones by California manufacturer Matternet, a firm primarily focused on developing airborne options for health care in developing countries.
