Southern Air Holdings, Inc. has awarded MTU Maintenance Hannover an exclusive 12-year maintenance and spare engine support contract covering all present and future GE90-110B engines in Southern Air’s 777 Freighter fleet.

Cathay places order for eight B777-200Fs
Cathay Pacific Airways has announced a significant investment in 12 B777s, including eight B777-200 Freighters and four B777-300ER passenger aircraft. The 12 new aircraft have a list price of about HK$25.6 billion. The aircraft are expected to be delivered to the airline between 2013 and 2016 and will be powered by General Electric GE90 engines.
