    Lufthansa Cargo (LC) saw its air freight volumes increase 14.8 per cent to 953,000 tonnes over the first six months of the year, compared with last year, boosted by strong growth in the Americas, where volumes jumped by 19.5 per cent year-on-year.

  • Slight half year cargo growth at Frankfurt

    The Fraport Group, which operates Germany's Frankfurt Airport (FRA) and holds majority stake in a handful of other airports around the world has posted its first half throughput figures for 2011, showing air cargo at Frankfurt up one per cent year-on-year, while passenger traffic was up 8.3 per cent.
