Virgin Group said it has acquired a 20percent stake in Malaysian carrier AirAsia X, which plans the start up of along-haul LCC service in the fourthquarter of 2007 from Kuala Lumpur usingleased A330 aircraft operated by FlyAsian Express. AirAsia X also ordered15 A330-300s.
