TSA bails out on 100% screening deadline
The US Transportation Security Administration (TSA) has told the air cargo industry it will not meet the 31 December deadline requiring inspection of 100 per cent of all air cargo on international passenger flights destined for the US.

AMERICAS: TIACA backs WTO's trade facilitation call
A call by the director general of the World Trade Organisation (WTO) to include trade facilitation in a new package of multilateral trade negotiations has won the backing of The International Air Cargo Association (TIACA) which says the move would not only benefit the air cargo industry but also the world economy.
