Skyroute Logistics, the UK-based specialist air cargo broker to Russia and the CIS, is to expand its products and services into Central Europe by extending its partnership with Luxembourg-based associate and consolidator Eastern Air Cargo (EAC).
As part of that closer working relationship, EAC will adopt the corporate identity of Skyroute Logistics Luxembourg and become the European consolidation point for Skyroute¡¯s global GSA network.
Skyroute was launched in 1993 following the collapse of the USSR after the company¡¯s founders, Roy Parmenter and Steven Matthews, saw an opportunity to specialise in the development of a wholesale freight product to serve that market.
Skyroute will now seek to expand its global reach by establishing further sales outlets in the Far East and Australasia. A further Skyroute hub is also planned for the Middle East later in the year.
