AAC Capital Partners, a Northern European buy-out firm, has acquired a majority stake in Envirotainer, a key player in the temperature controlled logistics for the pharmaceutical industry from Industrifonden and a number of private investors. Envirotainer’s management team will be investing alongside AAC, according to a statement from the company.

Envirotainer designs, manufactures and rents out specialist air cargo containers for the transportation of temperature sensitive pharmaceuticals. Headquartered in Lagga, Sweden, the company’s business covers the major trade routes for biological pharmaceuticals, with service hubs in 26 countries and annual sales of around €31 million.
