Menzies Aviation announced the renewal of the contract with Aerolineas Argentinas at Sydney Kingsford Smith International Airport. The contract is for a further three years and covers full cargo handling services. Aerolineas Argentinas operates three flights each week from Buenos Aires to Sydney using A340 aircraft and is a long established route for the airline.
Wilson Gonez, airport manager for Aerolineas Argentinas, said: “The service provided by Menzies Aviation in Sydney has continued to improve throughout the life of the contract. We are now in a position whereby Menzies is offering a premium cargo service to the freight forwarders that have supported Aerolineas Argentinas. Renewing the contract for another term with Menzies and strengthening our partnership, is a step forward for both businesses.”
Meanwhile, Menzies also secured a contract for passenger and ramp ground handling from Royal Brunei at the Brisbane International Airport in Brisbane, Australia. Menzies already provides handling for Royal Brunei at the Sydney Kingsford Smith in Australia, and the Auckland International Airport in New Zealand.
