Dubai cargo volumes rebounded in Aug
Cargo volume at the Dubai International Airport bounced back by 4.3 per cent, reaching 192,902 tonnes in August compared to 184,877 tonnes during the same month in 2013. Etihad Airways will expand its African route network with the launch of a daily service to Dar es Salaam, the largest city in Tanzania. Indian low-cost airline IndiGo has signed a US$2.6 billion deal with Industrial and Commercial Bank of China Ltd (ICBC) for the lender to finance more than 30 new aircraft.
