Thai Airways has operated its first flight using Neste MY Sustainable Aviation Fuel on 13 December. The airline refueled its Boeing 777 with blended SAF at Phuket Airport for the return flight to Bangkok International Airport. Air New Zealand has chosen ‘the ALIA’ as the airline’s first commercial purchase of battery-powered all-electric aircraft as part of its Mission Next Gen Aircraft programme. Cathay joins list of future Airbus A350F owners
Cathay Cargo is the latest amongst major airlines to select the Airbus A350 freighter to meet its future fleet requirements, with an order for six aircraft. Vietjet and UAE-based aircraft lessor and financier Novus Aviation Capital have signed memorandum of understandings (MOU) during the recent 28th Conference of the Parties (COP28) on climate action in Dubai.
