Air China has announced its financial results for the third quarter of 2014. It reported that operating revenue rose 6.68 per cent YoY to RMB29.79 billion (US$4.87 billion). The company also recorded operating profit of RMB3.71 billion, a decline of 7.58 per cent YoY. Accordingly the company’s margin stood at 12.47 per cent. September figures from the Association of Asia Pacific Airlines (AAPA) show steady growth in air freight demand. Airwork orders seven AEI B737-400SF conversions
New Zealand-based Airwork has ordered two firm and five optional B737-400SF eleven pallet configuration passenger-to-freighter conversions from Aeronautical Engineers Inc. (AEI). Airwork will make the freighter aircraft available to its ACMI and dry lease customers.
