Xiamen Air to carry SF Express' goods
Xiamen Airlines, a carrier based in Xiamen, Fujian province, signed a contract with SF Express Group to carry the logistics company's goods on the carrier's routes from Beijing starting Thursday. The airline will carry 6,000 tons goods for SF Express in 2015 and the volume will increase by 20 per cent annually during the contract term, according to their agreement. Airfreight movements at Singapore Changi Airport grew 2.1 per cent, with 159,700 tonnes of cargo handled during the month. Aircraft landings and takeoffs decreased by 3.7 per cent to 28,380. For the period of January to October 2014, cargo shipments grew by 0.5% to 1.53 million tonnes while aircraft movements were stable at 283,650 for the same period. RJ receives its 5th Dreamliner
Royal Jordanian welcomed its fifth 787 aircraft, thus completing the assimilation of the first group of its 787 order. Royal Jordanian’s acting president/CEO Captain Haitham Misto said that the 787s that RJ acquired are a new, advanced generation of the 787. Qatar Airways Cargo receives fourth A330 freighter
Qatar Airways Cargo took delivery of its fourth Airbus A330-200 freighter.
