Airbus said its board had backed plans for an A350 freighter to enter service in 2025 as it looks to take head on rival Boeing’s dominance in the air cargo market, Reuters reports. Airbus deploys test aircraft to move India relief support
Airbus has doubled down on its response to the health crisis in India by delivering more than 36 tonnes of additional medical equipment to the Indian Red Cross Society (IRCS) and deploying humanitarian flights to move supplies from abroad as well as within the country. ST Engineering and Airbus’ joint venture, Elbe Flugzeugwerke (EFW), announced an order for four Airbus A321 passenger-to-freighter (P2F) conversions from Dublin-based leasing company GTLK Europe.
