Emirates SkyCargo and Astral Aviation will be the first cargo carriers to make use of the new Transglobal Cargo Centre on-airport facility at Kenya's Jomo Kenyatta International Airport (JKIA), at Nairobi.
Transglobal said that Dubai-based Emirates and Nairobi-based Astral were currently handled at the company’s existing off-airport terminal, with perishables constituting a significant proportion of both carriers’ export traffic from the airport.
