Ilyushin Il-76 freighter crash kills 12
An Ilyushin Il-76 freighter operated by Georgian-based Sun Air crashed crashed into a residential construction site minutes after take-off from Karachi’s Jinnah International Airport on 28 November. All eight crew and at least four people on the ground were killed. The aircraft was said to be carrying 31 tonnes of relief aid to Khartoum in Sudan .
