UPS reports full-year profit, but down 28%

UPS has reported significant fourthquarter improvement, closing out the year with a US$2.15 billion profit, albeit down 28.3 per cent from the $3 billion earned in 2008. Full-year revenue fell 12 per cent to $45.3 billion while the company’s operating profit slipped 29.4 per cent to $3.8 billion from $5.38 billion.
