Lödige Systems and Hermes partner in Saigon

Hermes has been selected by Lödige Systems to supply the ground handling IT function for SCSC’s Saigon based green field site, to be delivered by Loedige in 2010.

This venture will see Lödige and Hermes joining forces to provide a ground handling solution and modern warehouse with the capacity to manage the expanding market in Southeast Asia.

With Lufthansa Consulting defining the processes and procedures for SCSC, this contemporary new warehouse will be in a position to achieve working practices of the highest level, said Hermes in a statement.

“Benefiting from Lödige’s extensive ground handling knowledge and the vast functionality of the HERMES system, SCSC will enjoy the rewards of an exacting and robust IT solution.”

Lödige Systems GmbH is a global leader in the design, manufacture, installation and maintenance of fully automated air cargo handling systems. Managing air cargo businesses for airlines, ground handlers and airports in more than 50 cargo terminals across five continents, Hermes Logistics Technologies develops and markets the Hermes real-time air cargo handling system, which supports terminals with cargo volumes varying from 20,000 to over one million tonnes per year.
