Frank Mühlenkamp is now strengthening Jettainer GmbH as its new director of operations. He is therefore responsible for the complete management and maintenance of about 90,000 containers and pallets (ULDs) worldwide that are operated by 24 airlines in conjunction with the leading international service partner for outsourced ULD management.
Mühlenkamp launched his career at the Ground Operations department at the Lufthansa hub in Frankfurt. After spending two years at Augsburg Airways, he returned to the Lufthansa Group. Mühlenkamp held several leading positions in the ground and flight operations departments and worked in Germany, Europe and the United States.

Jettainer GmbH is a wholly owned subsidiary of Lufthansa Cargo AG. Jettainer is currently responsible for the complete management of approx. 90,000 units – so-called Unit Load Devices – for 24 airlines. This includes managing, positioning, maintaining and servicing the items. The company operates at more than 450 airports around the world at the moment. Apart from its headquarters in Raunheim, Jettainer operates offices at the central hubs of international airlines in Abu Dhabi, Dallas/Fort Worth, Düsseldorf, Philadelphia, Rome and Zurich and it has an operations base in Mumbai. It has also had its own company in the USA, Jettainer Americas Inc., since 2014 and it has its headquarters in Delaware and branches in Dallas, Chicago, Miami, New York and Los Angeles.
Jettainer handles the complete value-added chain for ULD management – ranging from purchasing ULDs to managing and repairing them and even making available customised IT solutions and financing concepts. Jettainer rounds off its services package with JettLease, a leasing product for ULD emergencies. The company is certified in line with the ISO 14001 Environmental Management standard and the ISO 9001 Quality Management standard.
