Xiamen awards road feeder contract to Jan de Rijk

Xiamen Airlines has awarded a new three-year road feeder services contract to Jan de Rijk Logistics, extending its delivery network to over 100 airports across Europe. The new agreement enables the airline to offer a wide choice of destinations to customers, moving shipments on its flights between Europe and Asia.

The new agreement enables the airline to offer a wide choice of destinations to customers, moving shipments on its flights between Europe and Asia. As of 26 July, Xiamen Airlines will start flying three times a week from Xiamen to Amsterdam Xiamen Airlines’ general manager of cargo, Gaorong Yang said: “Supported by Jan de Rijk Logistics, Europe’s biggest and most trusted air cargo trucking company, we can offer our international clients extensive and reliable services.”

As the only Chinese airline featuring an all-Boeing fleet, Xiamen Airlines has a fleet of 114 aircraft with an average airplane service age of 5.48 years as of 1 February, 2015. Xiamen Airlines operates more than 220 domestic routes, and almost 30 international and regional routes, and flies more than 3,200 flights each week.
