Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Post have expanded their joint express delivery “Cool EMS Service” product to France starting 1 April.

Japan Airlines (JAL) and Japan Post have expanded their joint express delivery “Cool EMS Service” product to France starting 1 April. At the same time, it will also increase the number of post offices available for Cool EMS Service from 25 to 78 across Japan.

The two companies have been providing the two-year old food express delivery service at specific temperatures, to customers in Hong Kong, Taiwan, Singapore, Malaysia and Vietnam. It is the first time that the service is offered to a European country.

In a statement, JAL and Japan Post said the service areas of Cool EMS Service, which takes approximately 72-80 hours from acceptance of the items to delivery, will be gradually expanded
