Horses to LA courses for Qatar Cargo
Qatar Airways Cargo transported 40 of the world’s most admired show jumping and dressage horses – with a value of nearly â‚¬150 million – from Amsterdam to Las Vegas on 11 April to participate in the International Federation of Equestrian Sports’ World Cup 2015 Finals.

Qatar Airways Cargo transported 40 of the world’s most admired show jumping and dressage horses – with a value of nearly €150 million – from Amsterdam to Las Vegas on 11 April to participate in the International Federation of Equestrian Sports’ World Cup 2015 Finals.
Th e B777F aircraft was specially chartered and equipped with air stables to allow the precious cargo to travel in comfort throughout the 11- hour flight. Each of the horses enjoyed Qatar Airways’ Business Class freighter experience sharing an air stall on board the freighter with only one other horse, and were accompanied by 10 grooms and a veterinarian on their journey from Schiphol Amsterdam to McCarran International Airport, Las Vegas. An additional 11 tonnes of equipment including tack, blankets and boots was also loaded onto the flight.
