Precision Aircraft Solutions has announced its new agreement with HAECO Americas, whereby HAECO will provide touch labor on Precision’s 757-200PCF passenger-tofreighter conversions at its Greensboro, US facility. HAECO Americas, formerly known as TIMCO Aviation Services, was purchased in early 2014 by the Hong Kong-based aircraft engineering company and HAECO Xiamen has carried out many of Precision’s B757 freighter conversions.

Speaking of the new agreement, Mark Davis, SVP sales & marketing for HAECO Americas, said: “We are delighted to launch our new relationship with P2F industry leader, Precision. We have built a reputation for delivering high-quality, sophisticated modification programmes, and our employees are eager to take on the new 757 work.” He added, “Our sister company HAECO Xiamen has had a long, successful relationship with Precision, and this new program allows us to demonstrate how the HAECO Group is capable of leveraging knowledge and experience to provide solutions for customers around the world.”

The first HAECO Americas conversion will be of ex-VIM Airlines aircraft, which was purchased by a joint venture of Precision and US-based Aerolease Aviation. Conversion of the aircraft to 15-pallet PCF freighter configuration is scheduled to begin later this month, and the Precision/Aerolease JV will market the converted freighter.
