Fraport Cargo Services GmbH (FCS) expanded its range of electronic services at the beginning of the year, with customers and forwarding agents of FCS, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Fraport AG, now able to use a modern track & trace system to check the consignment status of their dispatched import freight.

The necessary online forms are available at Fraport’s website Here, users can simply enter the prefix and identifier of the relevant air waybill – or AWB for short – and then send off the form. A response provided shortly afterwards indicates whether the consignment has already been checked in, is ready for collection or has already been delivered. In addition, the “Receive status updates” function allows all updates on the progress of the consignment to be forwarded to a specific e-mail address.

For customers who wish to track many different AWB numbers, there is also the option of looking up multiple AWB numbers at the same time.
