KLM enjoys continued growth at YYC

Calgary International Airport (YYC) is benefitting from an expansion of KLM’s services at YYC with enlarged capacity and additional frequencies on their nonstop flight between Calgary and Amsterdam.

“Canada has always been of high interest to KLM and we are proud to be one of the major foreign carriers within this market,” said Pieter Groeneveld, VP network planning. “Calgary has been a very successful market for KLM since the start of our operations in 2009 and YYC continues to play an important role in further developing the KLM network to/from Canada. It’s our aim to continue our capacity growth in Calgary for the near future, supported by the commercial cooperation we have with our partner WestJet.”

The additions to KLM’s summer 2015 schedule from YYC include: An additional B777-200 frequency to four weekly flights and a new peak summer schedule which includes A332-200 service three times/week and B777-200 service four times/week.
