Fuzhou Airlines, to launch using B737-800s

Chinese start-up, Fuzhou Airlines will launch services with a fleet of five B737- 800s sourced from parent, Hainan Airlines according to documents released by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) which show that two of the aircraft will be leased from Hainan while the rest will be wholly-owned assets.

Chinese start-up, Fuzhou Airlines will launch services with a fleet of five B737- 800s sourced from parent, Hainan Airlines according to documents released by the Civil Aviation Administration of China (CAAC) which show that two of the aircraft will be leased from Hainan while the rest will be wholly-owned assets. The start-up is on track for a 1 October launch following which it will go head-to-head with local rival, Xiamen Airlines (Xiamen), which already controls a 50 per cent market share out of the southeastern coastal city.
