The conversion is its first for DHL since the Precision organisation restructured earlier this year.

B757 Boeing DHL Precision Aircraft Solutions

Precision Aircraft Solutions has begun conversion of a DHL-owned /B757 aircraft, MSN 28718. The aircraft will be operated in India by Blue Dart Aviation, a DHL affiliate. It will be the 15th overall aircraft and the fifth B757 plane converted by Precision to fly in the DHL global network. The conversion is underway at TAECO in Xiamen, PRC, with redelivery targeted for early October.

DHL currently operates 14 Precision-converted aircraft around the globe, including several in India, Australia, North America, the Republic of Panama and the Kingdom of Bahrain.

“This conversion represents a milestone in our continued commitment to producing the most flight-efficient, cargo-converted 757s in the world,” said Gary Warner, Precision president. “DHL’s enduring confidence in Precision is extremely meaningful to our team.”
