United Cargo begins non-stop service to Chengdu
United's three times weekly service is the first nonstop service by any airline between the US and mainland China beyond Beijing and Shanghai, according to United.

United Cargo today launches new nonstop service between our San Francisco hub (SFO) and Chengdu Shuangliu International Airport in Chengdu, China (CTU). United Cargo mentioned in a press statement that it will give support Chengdu’s continuing growth and development with their services.
United’s three times weekly B787 service is not only the first service by a U.S. airline in Chengdu, but the first nonstop service by any airline between the U.S. and mainland China beyond Beijing and Shanghai. Chengdu is the ninth destination in the Asia/Pacific region served by United with nonstop flights to and from SFO.
