The first B787-9 Dreamliner to bedelivered to launch customer Air NewZealand, revealing the carrier’s new-looklivery, was rolled out of the paint hangarin early April. The aircraft, painted in adistinctive black colour scheme, featuresthe iconic official New Zealand FernMark. “It’s great to see the Koru and thebeautiful New Zealand fern emblazonedon this aircraft. This will soon be the first787-9 aircraft anywhere in the worldto operate commercially and I think itwill instil a sense of pride in Kiwis andturn heads when it touches down atairports throughout Asia and the Pacific,”said Capt. David Morgan, Air NewZealand chief flight operations and safetyofficer.
