News sources have reported that the Competition Commission of Singapore (CCS) has provisionally found that 11 air freight companies and their S’pore subsidiaries and affiliates involved in a cartel. The Commission commenced investigations after being tipped off by one of the parties involved in the alleged cartel. The parties are said to have infringed sections in the Competition Act by collectively fixing certain fees and surcharges and exchanging price and customer information.
