Garuda ends 2013 with $3.72B operating revenue
Cargo and passenger volume transported increased by more than 20 per cent.

Garuda Indonesia has reported that it succeeded in increasing cargo volume to 345.923 tons which is about a 23.4 per cent rise from the previous year. While cargo and passenger volumes has increased, on the flipside, operating income had decreased by 66.4 per cent, amounting to USD 56.4 million, compared to the amount of $168.1 million received in 2012. Income for the period also declined from USD. 110.8 million in 2012 to USD 11.2 million in 2013. Garuda was reported as saying that this was because its financial performance in 2013 was influenced by rupiah’s decline against the US dollar.
